Pilot Kakuno Review

This pen is a nice pen, right out of the box, it was smooth, with a little feedback, it is not sold as a "semi-flex" or a "full-flex", but the nib is soft, the nib and feed can be removed for cleaning and I think you can put another nib and feed from other Pilot pens in it, I am not sure what Pilot nibs and feeds will fit in it, but that can be something that you can play around with, it comes with the pen, an ink cartridge and the clipless cap, plus a thing of instructions on how to put the ink cartridge in, it has a nice hexigon type shape, and feels nice, the section has that triangle type of shape, sort of like the Lamy and other pens, like one of the Omas pens, the pen can post nice and tightly, this pen was nice to use, was not hevey, you can see that in the stats of the pen.

Overall, the pen was not bad for a sub $20AUD pen, came with an ink cartidge so you can start right away, one down side of it is that the Pilot pens take proprietary connectors, and if you only have a Con-70 converter, you will have to spend a little more to get another converter, the other 2 converters SHOULD work with the pen.

Please share this website to people that enjoy fountain pens, and I would like to make a huge shout out to the Fountain Pen Network, and Pilot Japan, Pilot for making great pens, and FPN for being nice people (referring to the fountain pen network facebook page).
