I shall start off with saying that I have quit the NaNoWriMo, because it is too much for me to handle and plus I have other things I have to do in my life, so reviews will be back on track, one review a week until I have no more pens to review and have to get more :P, with that said, lets start off with the review.
This pen I am reviewing is the Pilot 78G New Old Stock fountain pen in Medium nib, since this pen is a Japanese pen, the nib grade will be one grade lower than any western nibs, so this pen writes more like a western fine, the pen has a nice springy clip, the nib has not got any spring to it but I was able to coax some line variation out of it, the nib is a nice smooth nib, great for EDC.
This pen has a nice old look to it, it is not the heaviest of pens, but also is not the lightest of pens, weighing in at 13G all together, the full measurements will be at the bottom of this review, (Weight only, as I cannot find my measuring tape.)
To be honest, there is not much else to say, other then this pen is one of my favorites out of all my pens (and yes, my jinhao x450 comes second.) This pen is a solid workhorse pen, I mean it may get some scratches and chips in the plastic body, but thats ok, because for a $19.95 pen, its ok if it gets damaged.
